Baouya v. Canada

The case involved the termination of Daniel Baouya from his probationary position as the Manager, Regional Operations, Pacific-Air at the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board (TSB). Baouya was accused of not disclosing his continued employment with WestJet and not being transparent about his relationship with them during the TSB's administrative investigation. Baouya sought a judicial review of the decision, claiming a breach of procedural fairness, and that the decision to terminate his employment was unreasonable. The court found no breach of procedural fairness and concluded that the decision to terminate Baouya was reasonable, justified, and made in good faith.
