Afrodity Arvanitis, a former liquor store clerk, was involved in two motor vehicle accidents in 2014 and 2016. She suffered soft tissue injuries to her neck, upper back, lower back, and right hip, along with ongoing pain and reduced functional capacity. The defendants admitted liability for the accidents. As a result, the plaintiff was awarded $400,000 in damages, including non-pecuniary damages, past and future loss of earning capacity, loss of housekeeping capacity, and cost of future care. She was also awarded $7,714.92 in special damages.
