On August 30, 2023, CAI Software, LLC, a leader in ERP, MES, eCommerce EDI, and WMS solutions, acquired Minotaur Software, Ltd. This acquisition bolstered CAI's capabilities in food manufacturing and distribution, enhancing processes from raw material purchasing to accounting. The transaction value was not disclosed.

Minotaur's integration strengthens CAI's portfolio by connecting office, plant, warehouse, and mobile workers, providing food manufacturers with critical data for informed decision-making. The combined expertise will serve various food industry sectors, including meat and seafood processing, commercial bakeries, and chemical manufacturing.

Brian Rigney, CEO of CAI Software, emphasized the benefits of this merger for delivering industry-specific solutions. Judith Kirkness, now Vice President of CAI Minotaur, highlighted the synergy between Minotaur’s and CAI’s offerings to support global food manufacturers’ growth.
