Canada purchases King Air planes for $247 Million

In 2022, the Canadian government procured three Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft for $247 million to enhance its aerial surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. These aircraft, designated as CE-145C Vigilance, were equipped with advanced sensors and secure communications systems. The first of these planes was delivered in February 2024, with the remaining two expected in the spring of 2024. The CE-145C Vigilance aircraft are primarily operated by the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) to support missions both domestically and internationally.
