Recurrent Energy acquires two standalone energy storage projects from Black Mountain Energy Storage

Recurrent Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., acquired two standalone energy storage projects from Black Mountain Energy Storage (BMES). These projects, located in the South Load Zone of Texas' ERCOT market, are each designed to store up to 200 MWh of energy, totaling 400 MWh. At the time of acquisition, both projects were in the development phase, with plans to reach notice to proceed in 2023 and commence operations in the second quarter of 2024.
