TFI International Inc., a leading North American transportation and logistics company, announced the acquisition of Groupe CRS Express, a Quebec-based flatbed and heavy-haul carrier. This strategic move aims to bolster TFI's truckload unit in anticipation of a planned spinoff.

The financial terms of the acquisition have not been publicly disclosed.

The acquisition encompasses Groupe CRS Express's three subsidiaries: CRS Express, Transport Express Beauce, and CRS Express Logistics. 

This acquisition is part of TFI International's broader strategy to enhance its truckload operations, particularly in the flatbed and heavy-haul sectors.
