Gay Lea Foods has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to sell Hewitt’s Dairy Limited, located in Hagersville, Ontario, to Mississauga-based Dairy Fountain Inc. The financial terms remain undisclosed.

Dairy Fountain, a specialty dairy processor known for products like kefir, ayran, sour cream, and various yogurts, plans to invest in Hewitt’s future growth while maintaining operations in Hagersville.

The transaction is expected to be finalized within six months, pending a definitive agreement.
