Direct Travel, Inc., a leading corporate travel management company, was acquired on April 2, 2024, by a group of investors led by Steve Singh, founder of Concur, along with Durable Capital Partners, Madrona Ventures, Top Tier Capital Partners, and Blackstone Credit & Insurance.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As part of the acquisition, Steve Singh assumed the role of Executive Chairman, and Christal Bemont, formerly CEO of Talend and Chief Revenue Officer at SAP Concur, was appointed CEO of Direct Travel.

Davies served as Canadian counsel to Direct Travel with a team that includes Michel Gélinas, Jordan Altman, Mehlka Mustansir (Corporate), Dan Wolfensohn, Kimvy Ngo (Financing); Max Jarvie (Privacy); Hélène Bussières, Shari Cohen, Mark-Anthony Nakis and Alexis Lemajic (Employment); Michael Kandev and Olivia Khazam (Tax); Mark Katz and Taraleigh Stevenson (Competition).
