On February 19, 2025, Maverick Aviation Group Limited acquired Vision Inspection Services Canada Inc. ("Vi-Scan"), a leading non-destructive testing (NDT) services provider based at Calgary International Airport. The acquisition aims to expand Vi-Scan’s geographic reach and technical capabilities, reinforcing aviation safety and service excellence. Maverick, which recently expanded through Bristow Instruments (1977) Ltd., now offers NDT and tool calibration services at Edmonton International Airport (YEG), Calgary International Airport (YYC), and Kelowna International Airport (YLW), with further expansion planned.

Legal advisors for Maverick were Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. Vi-Scan was advised by Chris Sutton of Sutton Group, while Mark Fletcher of Fletcher Law provided legal counsel to the selling shareholders, Susan Yeo and Dani Sutton. Transaction value was not disclosed.
