By early December 2024, Postmedia had rebranded SaltWire as "PNI Atlantic News", effectively integrating SaltWire's operations into its national media network. This move expanded Postmedia's reach into the Atlantic region, adding well-known regional publications like The Chronicle Herald and The Telegram to its portfolio.
