Enghouse Systems acquires Trafi to expand global mobility-as-a-service offerings

On April 14, 2025, Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX: ENGH), a Canadian-based enterprise software company, announced the acquisition of Trafi Ltd., a Lithuania-based leader in Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) technology. The acquisition, conducted through a wholly owned subsidiary, marks a strategic expansion of Enghouse’s intelligent transportation solutions portfolio. The transaction value was not disclosed.

Trafi’s platform supports multimodal transit services in major cities including Berlin (Jelbi), Brussels (Floya), and Solent (Breeze), offering real-time trip planning, ticketing, and integration of public and private transport systems. Trafi CEO Damian Bown stated that joining Enghouse would significantly scale their platform’s reach and impact across global markets.

The transaction also marks a successful exit for early investor Practica Capital, a Vilnius-based venture capital firm.

Todd M. May, Vice President & General Counsel of Enghouse Systems, led the legal representation on the transaction. Mr. May oversees M&A, compliance, and corporate governance, and previously practiced corporate and securities law at Aird & Berlis LLP.

Ugne Butkeviciute served as legal counsel to Trafi, advising on regulatory, transactional, and cross-border matters to ensure the deal's successful execution.

The acquisition closed on April 14, 2025, the same day it was announced, positioning Enghouse to accelerate its role in the urban mobility technology sector worldwide.
