On March 26, 2025, Dentons, Canada’s global law firm, has entered into a strategic alliance with Pulse Law, a recently launched Kitchener-Waterloo-based legal firm focused on serving SMEs, startups, investors, and buyers. The alliance enhances Dentons’ presence in the tech-driven Kitchener-Waterloo region while granting Pulse Law access to Dentons’ national and global legal infrastructure. Pulse Law was founded in 2024 by Todd Bissett and Irena Kramer, who bring over 30 years of combined legal experience from leading Canadian and international firms.
Through this partnership, Dentons strengthens its longstanding involvement in the region’s innovation community, expanding its Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies (VTEGC) practice with local expertise. Meanwhile, Pulse Law clients benefit from broader access to Dentons' full-service capabilities and global reach, enabling more comprehensive support for fast-growing tech enterprises.
