On March 31, 2025, First Mile completed the acquisition of UK-based waste broker Greenzone.

The acquisition significantly enhances First Mile’s capabilities across the UK, supporting its mission to help the country reduce and recycle more business waste. Key factors that attracted First Mile to the acquisition include Greenzone’s high service levels, cutting-edge technology, and strong account management, which have driven substantial growth and high customer retention.
