Apex Group Technologies Inc., a Canadian technology consolidator backed by Round13 Capital, has entered into definitive agreements to acquire a controlling stake in MapsPeople A/S, a Danish company specializing in indoor mapping and location intelligence solutions.

The transaction involves Apex acquiring at least 51 percent and up to approximately 64 percent of MapsPeople's shares through a combination of new share subscriptions and purchases of existing shares from current shareholders.
