Postmedia Network Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the Winnipeg Sun, The Graphic Leader, and Kenora Miner & News to The Klein Group Ltd., a Manitoba-based media company led by former Winnipeg Sun publisher and provincial cabinet minister Kevin Klein. The transaction, announced on May 27, 2024, includes Postmedia’s Winnipeg Press Commercial Print division, along with all associated digital properties, contracts, and other related business assets.
