On September 19, 2023, Montreal-based Valsoft Corporation Inc. announced the acquisition of Fusion, a Chicago-based industrial data analytics hub. While the transaction value was not disclosed, the deal aligns with Valsoft’s strategy of acquiring vertical market software companies and enhancing their offerings through long-term investment. Fusion provides a cloud-native Industrial Data Analytics Hub that enables rapid access to, and deep analysis of, industrial operations data across various OT and IoT systems. Its platform supports both SaaS and dedicated cloud deployment, integrating easily with existing asset hierarchies, data models, and business intelligence tools, thereby fostering self-reliance and data-driven innovation within organizations.

The acquisition enhances Valsoft’s Process & Manufacturing portfolio by adding Fusion’s advanced capabilities in time-series and event data analytics, which are vital for enterprises managing large-scale, multi-site operations. Fusion's commitment to data quality, automated normalization, and engineering-ready tools makes it a valuable asset in optimizing operational performance. Aspire Software CEO Michael Assi emphasized that Fusion’s innovative solutions align with Valsoft’s mission to drive growth in the Operational Technology industry.
