On January 31, 2022, Graham Group, a Calgary-based construction and industrial services firm, completed the acquisition of the North American assets of AECOM’s Energy Operations and Maintenance (EOM) division. This strategic acquisition significantly expanded Graham’s capacity to provide maintenance, turnaround, fabrication, and sustaining capital services for major energy, industrial, and petrochemical companies across Western Canada, Ontario, and the U.S. The transaction immediately boosted Graham’s annual revenues by more than $550 million and provided access to a 3,000-worker pool of skilled labour through allied subcontractors. As a result, Graham became the third-largest construction company in Canada and Western Canada’s largest industrial services company.
