On December 2, 2024, Seasons Retirement Communities, a Canadian operator of senior living residences, completed the acquisition of two prominent Vancouver-based retirement communities: Tapestry at Arbutus Walk and Tapestry at Wesbrook Village. This strategic move marks Seasons' entry into the British Columbia market, expanding its portfolio to include 25 retirement communities across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. The acquisition was managed in partnership with Fengate Asset Management, acting on behalf of investors including the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada. The two properties, now rebranded as Seasons Arbutus and Seasons Wesbrook Village, collectively offer 295 rental suites and 88 managed condominium suites, enhancing Seasons' capacity to serve Canada's growing senior population.
