On June 1, 2024, Resilient Management Corp., a family-owned Canadian franchise operator, completed the acquisition of Pet Planet, a Calgary-based franchisor and retailer specializing in premium pet products. Founded in 1996 by Laura Leah English and Joan Bauer, Pet Planet has grown to nearly 50 franchise locations across Western Canada, emphasizing holistic pet wellness and natural products. This acquisition aligns with Resilient's strategy to expand its footprint in resilient, consumer-focused franchise businesses.
