On June 5, 2025, Englobe Corporation, a leading Canadian engineering and environmental services firm and a subsidiary of Colliers International Group Inc., announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cambium Inc., a Peterborough, Ontario-based multi-service consulting and engineering firm. Founded in 2006, Cambium employs 235 professionals across five Ontario offices and provides services in geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, building sciences, and construction monitoring.

The transaction was officially completed on July 14, 2025. Cambium will operate as a separate division within Englobe, with its senior leadership team remaining in place and becoming shareholders through Colliers’ partnership model. This acquisition expands Englobe’s service capacity—particularly in the environmental sector—and strengthens its geographic reach and capabilities in Ontario, Canada’s largest market.
