SGS strengthens industrial operational technology services with the acquisition of Streamline Control

SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has acquired Streamline Control, an Alberta-based provider of industrial control systems and operational technology (OT) services. Founded in 2011, Streamline serves sectors including renewable energy, utilities, oil and gas, and manufacturing. The deal strengthens SGS's digital transformation capabilities in North America, especially in IIoT, SCADA integration, and cybersecurity-enhanced OT environments.

This acquisition supports SGS’s Strategy 27 by expanding its industrial digital services and offering integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and provide real-time decision-making data. As part of the integration, 45 professionals from Streamline Control will join SGS's regional team.
