In a strategic move to expand its global footprint in the digital health and employee wellbeing sector, Telus Health, a division of Telus Corporation, acquired Workplace Options (WPO), a leading provider of integrated employee wellbeing solutions. The acquisition, valued at approximately CAD 500 million, was finalized on May 1, 2025. This transaction enhances Telus Health's capabilities, extending its services to over 150 million individuals across more than 200 countries and territories. The deal was supported by a US$200 million preferred equity investment from private equity firm GTCR, aimed at accelerating Telus Health's global growth and innovation.
