On July 3, 2025, Zurich Insurance Group announced the acquisition of BOXX Insurance Inc., a Toronto-based global cyber insurance and risk management insurtech. BOXX, founded in 2018, has grown to serve nearly one million customers across five continents with its suite of Cyberboxx® products. BOXX will be integrated into Zurich Global Ventures but will continue to operate under its own brand. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
