On June 26, 2025, Kowanetz Farms Ltd., a second-generation family-owned crop farming operation based in Delhi, Ontario, completed the sale of all its issued and outstanding shares to 10281158 Canada Inc., an affiliate of Farmaira Inc., through a share acquisition.

The transaction aligns with Farmaira’s legacy of over 70 years of agricultural expertise across Southern Ontario and strengthens its footprint in the region’s crop farming sector, including ginseng cultivation.
