On July 14, 2025, Recipe Unlimited completed the acquisition of all eight Olive Garden restaurants located in Canada from Darden Restaurants, Inc. This acquisition is part of a broader strategy to grow the Olive Garden brand in Canada. The existing locations are situated in key markets across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

In addition to the acquisition, Recipe entered into a comprehensive development agreement with Darden, granting them the exclusive rights to develop and operate new Olive Garden locations across the country. This partnership will help expand Olive Garden’s presence and bring its Italian-inspired cuisine to more communities nationwide.

The acquisition and development agreement reflect Recipe's commitment to diversifying and growing its portfolio in the casual dining segment.
