Toronto and L.A.-based Blink49 Studios has acquired Toronto prodco Pier 21 Films. The acquisition includes its current productions, content library and in-development projects.
The deal was negotiated by Blink49’s chief operating officer and co-founder Nelson Kuo-Lee and Pier 21’s founder Laszlo Barna.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Blink49 will assume all operations of Pier 21 while Barna will exit the company.
