Valsoft acquires Sweden-based Tiltid

On July 16, 2025, Montreal-based Valsoft Corporation Inc., a company focused on acquiring and developing vertical market software businesses, announced its acquisition of Tiltid, a Sweden-based provider of cloud-based scheduling and staffing solutions. Tiltid has a strong presence in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors and serves several major Swedish supermarket and retail chains. This transaction marks Valsoft’s ninth investment in the workforce management space, reinforcing its commitment to expanding mission-critical software solutions globally.

The acquisition supports Tiltid’s next phase of growth by granting it access to Valsoft’s operational resources and strategic ecosystem, while retaining its leadership, team, and customer-focused approach. Pia Groundstroem, CEO of Tiltid, emphasized that the integration will allow Tiltid to accelerate innovation and enhance customer value. Anthony Caruso, Investment Partner at Valsoft, highlighted the company’s strong legacy and deep customer relationships in Sweden.

Following the acquisition, Tiltid will continue to operate independently. Legal advisors on the transaction included Oliver Gray (Senior Legal Counsel) and Elisa Marcon (Senior Corporate Paralegal) representing Valsoft internally, with external legal counsel provided by Advokatfirman Hammarskiöld. Tiltid’s shareholders were represented by Gernandt & Danielsson.
