Ovivo Inc. and its shareholder SKion Water GmbH completed the sale of Ovivo's Electronics division to Ecolab on December 16, 2025. The transaction, first announced on August 12, 2025, was valued at approximately C$2.4 billion.

The deal allows the Electronics division to operate under Ecolab's global platform while Ovivo refocuses on its remaining three divisions: Municipal/Industrial/PFAS, Energy, and Cembrane SiC membrane.

Following the divestiture, SKion Water plans to accelerate both organic and inorganic growth across Ovivo's Municipal, Energy, and Cembrane operations. The company intends to expand Ovivo's industrial presence in North America through acquisitions in key sectors.
