Osoyoos’ family-owned Adega on 45th Estate Winery has been acquired by the wine-focused investment group which also operates the Surrey-based Gate 22 Winery.
The investors note the acquisition of Adega reflects the optimism and potential of the BC’s wine industry.
Gate 22 currently imports its grapes from various US vineyards and with this acquisition it appears it will be sourcing grapes from the Osoyoos vineyard as well.
