On September 8, 2025, TorQuest Partners has completed an investment in Waste Solutions Canada Inc. (WSC), a prominent tech-enabled managed service provider specializing in waste and recycling solutions for commercial and industrial clients across Canada.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in London, Ontario, WSC delivers vendor-agnostic management of non-hazardous and hazardous waste, recycling, and sustainability programs to sectors such as property management, senior living, manufacturing, institutional facilities, and hospitality. The company, led by co-founder and CEO Jason Wilcox, employs over 100 staff and operates nationwide. As part of the transaction, WSC’s co-founders, including Wilcox and Shane Curtis, retain substantial ownership and will continue to lead the business, ensuring continuity in management and strategic direction. TorQuest’s investment marks the fourth deployment from its Fund VI and is intended to support WSC’s next phase of growth, including organic expansion and acquisitions, while reinforcing its leadership in the Canadian market.

KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. advised WSC on the financial aspects of the deal, with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP serving as legal counsel to the company and Torys LLP representing TorQuest Partners.
