On September 2, 2025, KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA ("KWS") and Limagrain completed the sale of 100% of AgReliant Genetics to GDM. AgReliant Genetics, a joint venture between KWS and Limagrain, was established in 2000 and specializes in the research, production and sale of corn, soybean and other seeds. As part of the transaction, certain rights to genetic material for corn were sold to GDM as well.

Based in Germany, KWS is one of the world’s leading plant breeding companies, focusing on plant breeding and the production and sale of seed for sugarbeet, corn, cereals, vegetables, oilseed rape and sunflower.
