On October 6, 2025, an Amended and Restated Initial Order was granted commencing a creditor-led Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") proceeding over Minglian Holdings Ltd. and 0882892 B.C. Ltd., the bare trustee for the Duet Project. The filing sought the appointment of MNP Ltd. as monitor with enhanced powers over specific assets, notably the Duet Project, while excluding other Minglian affiliated properties from the scope of the Monitor's enhanced powers, DIP financing, and stay of proceedings.
