Vance Street invests in Damotech to accelerate warehouse safety growth

On November 13, 2025, Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has partnered with Damotech, a Boisbriand, Quebec–based rack safety specialist and the largest provider of rack safety solutions in North America, to support its next phase of growth. Mountaingate Capital and Damotech’s management reinvested alongside Vance Street. The acquisition is Vance Street’s sixth investment from Vance Street Capital IV and its 14th in the industrial technology safety ecosystem. Led by CEO Eric Naaman, Damotech delivers engineering services, built-to-spec repair and protection products, and proprietary software, and has maintained double-digit annual growth over the past 15 years. The company addresses warehouse rack safety comprehensively through inspections by highly knowledgeable engineers and high-quality repair and protection products, aiming to provide permanent solutions to recurring rack damage and help clients create safer workplaces. Naaman and his senior team will continue to lead and retain a material ownership position. Terms were not disclosed.

Legal advisors to Vance Street were Paul Hastings LLP and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Damotech was advised by Harris Williams (financial) and by Hogan Lovells, BCF Business Law, and Davies Ward Philips & Vineberg (legal). Debt financing was provided by Bank of Montreal and Apogem Capital. The partnership will back geographic and product expansion and targeted M&A while preserving Damotech’s culture and mission.
