Venerable Ventures Ltd. (operating as Selkirk Copper Mines) completed the acquisition of a 100 percent interest in the Minto copper-gold-silver mine located in Yukon. 

The Selkirk First Nation indirectly holds a controlling equity stake in Selkirk Copper, making the Minto copper-gold-silver mine the first First Nation-controlled mining operation in Canada. 

Selkirk Copper was represented by a Farris transaction team led by Peter Roth and included Michael Rawluk and Ian Meikle.
