On November 12, 2025, United Rentals of Canada, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Rentals, Inc., the largest equipment rental company in North America, completed the acquisition of the business and substantially all of the assets of Direct Equipment, a supplier of trench shoring equipment in Ontario and Western Canada.
