Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice and In-Home Euthanasia has expanded into Canada through a business combination with Toronto-based Midtown Mobile Veterinary Hospice Services, marking Lap of Love’s entry into Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The transaction, announced on January 7, 2026, creates a Canadian Lap of Love practice under the Midtown Mobile brand, with Midtown continuing to focus on in-home, end-of-life veterinary care, including quality-of-life assessments, pain and anxiety management, end-of-life consultations, and peaceful in-home euthanasia. Midtown also offers eco-friendly aftercare through sister company Faithful Pet Memorial, described as the first aquamation (water-based cremation) service for pets in Toronto. Lap of Love is the largest network of veterinarians exclusively dedicated to in-home, end-of-life veterinary care in North America, with more than 400 doctors supporting pet families.
