Gary Lubner, British philanthropist and founder of This Day Foundation, and Sir Matthew Vaughn, a British filmmaker and founder of MARV, agreed to acquire a minority stake in Best Intentions Analytics, a UK-registered football investment and holding company for Brentford FC and Mérida AD. Financial terms are not disclosed.

Equity and financing from the new shareholders will enable greater investment in the playing squad, create enhanced commercial opportunities, and help grow Brentford Football Club’s reach and impact locally and beyond.
