Dynatrace, a global observability and application performance monitoring company, has acquired DevCycle, a Toronto-based feature management platform built on the OpenFeature standard. The deal, which closed in January 2026, is designed to strengthen Dynatrace’s progressive delivery capabilities for cloud-native and AI-native software by integrating DevCycle’s enterprise-grade feature management directly into the Dynatrace platform. DevCycle’s feature flagging and experimentation tools, developed over more than a decade and used by customers ranging from Fortune 100 enterprises to high-growth startups, will enable safer rollouts, real-time experimentation, rapid mitigation, and automated remediation based on Dynatrace’s real-time, AI-powered telemetry.
Fasken advised Dynatrace with a team led by Daniel Fuke and including Alec McIlwraith Black, Paul Casuccio, Kevin Yip, and Nathan Haldane.
