Six Flags to sell 7 amusement parks to EPR Properties

Six Flags Entertainment agreed to sell seven of its regional amusement parks to EPR Properties for a total cash consideration of US$331 million.

The parks included in the deal are Valleyfair (Minnesota), Worlds of Fun (Missouri), Michigan’s Adventure (Michigan), Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Texas), Six Flags St. Louis (Missouri), Six Flags Great Escape (New York), and Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC). The sale of Six Flags La Ronde is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, following the satisfaction of applicable closing conditions and receipt of required approvals.

Fasken represented Six Flags in connection with the La Ronde transaction with a team consisting of Neil Kravitz, Michaëlle Guilbault, Tu Anh Tran, Nicolas Leblanc, Chris Semerjian, Quentin Lageix, Youcef Belrachid, Véronique Larivière and Ines Ziat.
