Nuvei to acquire Payoneer for US$2.75 billion (C$3.85 billion) in all-cash transaction

Announced June 15, 2026, Montreal-based Nuvei entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Nasdaq-listed Payoneer Global Inc. (PAYO) in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately US$2.75 billion (C$3.85 billion), or US$7.40 (C$10.35) per share. The transaction has been approved by the boards of both companies and is expected to close in mid-2027, subject to Payoneer shareholder approval and required regulatory approvals. Together, the combined company is expected to generate approximately US$3.0 billion (C$4.20 billion) in annual revenue and process more than US$500 billion (C$699.6 billion) in annual payment volume for over 2.4 million customers across 190+ countries. The combination unites Nuvei's payment acceptance platform with Payoneer's cross-border payouts, multi-currency accounts, and real-time settlement infrastructure across 150+ markets, with a focus on supporting agentic commerce and stablecoin payments.
