Float Financial closes $85 million Series C financing led by Inovia Capital

On June 24, 2026, Toronto-based fintech Float Financial Solutions Inc. announced that it had closed a $85 million all-equity Series C financing led by Montréal-based venture capital firm Inovia Capital. The round saw continued participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, which had led Float's Series B financing in December 2024, and from Garage Capital, alongside new investment from BDC Capital and Northleaf Capital Partners. Float reported that the financing increased the company's valuation by approximately 70 percent compared with its Series B round, with media coverage placing the post-money valuation at approximately $548 million. With the Series C, Float has raised approximately $300 million in aggregate debt and equity financing since inception in 2019. All existing investors are reported to have remained fully invested. As part of the transaction, Dennis Kavelman, a Partner at Inovia Capital, will join Float's board of directors. Float operates a Canadian business finance platform whose products include corporate cards denominated in Canadian and U.S. dollars, automated expense management, next-day bill payments, working capital credit, cross-border payments, and high-yield business accounts, built to address Canadian regulatory and bilingual requirements. The company reports serving more than 7,500 Canadian businesses, including Cohere, Knix, Neo, Jane, and Rebel.
