407 International Inc., the operator of the 407 ETR electronic toll highway in the Greater Toronto Area, completed an offering of $1 billion in medium-term notes issued in two series. The offering comprised $500 million of 4.48 percent senior secured notes, Series 26-A1, maturing October 7, 2036, and $500 million of 5.06 percent senior secured notes, Series 26-A2, maturing April 7, 2056. The notes were issued under the company's established financing program and sold through a syndicate of agents. 407 International owns and operates one of the busiest toll roads in North America and is a frequent issuer in the Canadian debt capital markets, funding capital expenditures and refinancing existing obligations through periodic note issuances. The dual-tranche structure allowed the company to raise long-dated capital across two maturities, with the longer tranche extending to 2056. The offering was completed in early April 2026. As a completed debt financing, the transaction reached settlement upon closing, with the notes issued to investors and proceeds delivered to the company. The financing reflected continued investor demand for high-quality, long-dated Canadian infrastructure debt backed by stable toll-road cash flows. The proceeds support the company's ongoing capital program and general corporate purposes, consistent with its regular presence in the term-debt market.
