Concert Properties and Brookfield form C$1 Billion Canadian industrial joint venture

Concert Properties Ltd., through Concert Income Properties ("Concert"), announced on June 3, 2026 the formation of a joint venture with a Brookfield affiliate covering an eight-property Canadian industrial portfolio totaling approximately 5.3 million square feet. The transaction values the portfolio at approximately C$1 billion — all figures were stated in Canadian dollars, so no foreign currency conversion is applicable. The announcement did not disclose a closing date for the transaction.

The portfolio comprises a mix of single-tenant and multi-tenant industrial properties across Canada's largest urban logistics markets, including Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Ottawa. The assets are fully leased to a diverse roster of credit tenants, benefit from strong connectivity to highway, airport and rail infrastructure, and represent stabilized, high-quality industrial real estate with embedded income growth potential.

Lindsay Brand, Chief Investment Officer of Concert Properties, highlighted the partnership's shared alignment and long-term view, noting Concert will actively manage the portfolio on behalf of the joint venture. Andy Smith, Managing Partner, Real Estate at Brookfield, said the investment reflects Brookfield's conviction in high-quality logistics real estate in supply-constrained, high-barrier markets.

CIBC and CBRE acted as advisors to Concert on the transaction (the document uses the term "advisors"; no underwriters, agents, or dealers were named). Legal advisors were not disclosed in the release.
