On June 30, 2026, Beeline Medicines Corporation announced the closing of a 126.3 million dollar Series A extension, bringing its total Series A financing round to 426.3 million dollars. The extension builds on Beeline Medicines' previously announced 300 million dollar Series A financing from earlier in 2026. The funding came from existing shareholders and investors, including Bain Capital, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and Bristol Myers Squibb, along with participation from certain members of the company's management team.
Beeline Medicines is a Stamford, Connecticut-based clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing precision therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The company was formed in July 2025 and built around a portfolio of therapeutic candidates licensed from Bristol Myers Squibb. Its lead program, afimetoran, is a small molecule TLR7/8 inhibitor in development for lupus, with a Phase 2 readout expected in the second half of 2026. The proceeds from the upsized round are intended to support pivotal development preparations for afimetoran and the initiation of additional clinical studies across the company's broader immunology pipeline, including candidates targeting IL-2, IL-18, and TYK2 pathways.
Torys LLP acted as Canadian counsel to CPP Investments on the financing, with a team led by Konata Lake.
