Altius Minerals closes $181.5 million bought deal offering of common shares

Altius Minerals Corporation, a St. John's, Newfoundland-based mining royalty company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: ALS) and OTCQX (ATUSF), announced on July 14, 2026 a bought-deal public offering of 3,000,000 common shares at $60.50 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $181,500,000. The offering was co-led by National Bank Financial Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., and TD Securities Inc., on behalf of a syndicate that also included ATB Capital Markets Corp., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Raymond James Ltd., and BMO Capital Markets. The underwriters held an over-allotment option for up to an additional 15 percent of the offered shares, exercisable within 30 days of closing. The offering was priced at an 8.4 percent discount to the prior day's closing share price. Altius stated that net proceeds would be used to strengthen its balance sheet following several 2026 acquisitions and for general corporate purposes. The offering closed on July 21, 2026. Miller Thomson LLP advised the underwriters, with a corporate team led by partners Andrew Powers and Abid Ahmed, supported by associates Brandon Meyer, Wendy Wang, and Calvin Wang, and tax partner Daniel Lang.
