The Gryphin Advantage acquires Groupe Financier Boulos

The Gryphin Advantage Inc., an Ontario-based managing general agency, has acquired Groupe Financier Boulos, a Quebec-based managing general agency serving independent financial advisors. Boulos was founded in 1979 by Mac Boulos and is run by his sons Roger Boulos and Robert Boulos, with headquarters in Longueuil, Quebec. The acquisition expands Gryphin's presence in the Quebec market and adds French-language capacity to its advisor network. Boulos serves approximately 400 advisors, while Gryphin serves roughly 2,200; following the transaction, the combined operation will support about 2,600 advisors across both official languages. According to the announcement, Boulos contributes Quebec market exposure and regional knowledge, while its advisors gain access to Gryphin's technology, compliance infrastructure, and advisor development resources. Groupe Financier Boulos will continue operating under its own name as it integrates with Gryphin, and existing advisor relationships, compensation arrangements, contracts, and day-to-day business processes are expected to remain unchanged in the short term. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Borden Ladner Gervais acted as legal counsel to The Gryphin Advantage on the transaction.
