On August 18, 2026, Vena Solutions announced the completion of its acquisition of Morpheo AI. The transaction, first announced on July 28, 2026 when Vena entered into a definitive agreement subject to customary closing conditions, brings Morpheo AI's team and technology into Vena. Morpheo AI is a Toronto-based enterprise agentic data platform whose technology prepares, curates, structures, and enriches fragmented enterprise data for reporting, business intelligence, and advanced artificial intelligence applications, combining large language models, reasoning systems, and data engineering expertise to coordinate and execute data workflows. Vena Solutions is a leader in Microsoft-native orchestrated financial and operational planning, providing financial and operational planning and decisioning software across Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. The acquisition supports the development of Vena Omega, Vena's cumulative context engine for finance, designed to connect governed enterprise data with the business definitions, calculations, assumptions, workflows, and decisions that give it meaning, deepening organizational intelligence and enabling company-specific AI capabilities. The acquisition continues a period of rapid expansion for Vena, following its earlier 2026 acquisition of Acterys, which deepened its financial and operational planning capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem. Morpheo AI was founded by former Manulife and Co-operators data leaders Sandesh Patil and Charly Lin. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
