On August 1, 2026, Dillon Consulting Limited announced the acquisition of David Nairne + Associates Ltd., a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing planning, architecture, civil and structural engineering, and project management services across Western and Northern Canada. The transaction was publicly announced by the parties on August 12, 2026. Dillon Consulting is an employee-owned professional consulting firm founded in London, Ontario in 1946, specializing in planning, management, engineering, and environmental science, with more than 1,100 employees across 25-plus offices nationwide. David Nairne + Associates, founded in 1972, is an employee-owned firm with more than 50 employees that has completed projects throughout British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Manitoba, and Alaska, and is recognized for its relationships with Indigenous communities, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and government clients. The acquisition expands the West Coast reach of Dillon's architectural subsidiary, Dillon Architecture Limited, following Dillon's March 2025 partnership with Atlantic Canada's FBM Architecture. David Nairne + Associates will continue to operate separately under its own name.
