On August 6, 2026, AT Safety Training Ltd., a portfolio company of Canadian private investment firm Lnkd Capital, completed its acquisition of Alberta Construction Training Institute (ACTI), a leading Alberta-based provider of construction and industrial skilled trades and safety training. ACTI serves clients across Canada and the United States and has delivered health, safety, and technical training across Alberta for more than two decades. AT Safety Training is a leading provider of occupational health and safety training and certification in Western Canada; it was itself acquired by Lnkd Capital in October 2025 as Lnkd's first investment in the safety and industrial training sector. Lnkd Capital, a Vancouver-based private investment firm and search fund founded by David To, focuses on acquiring and building founder-led businesses for the long term, and has signalled an intention to build a vertical in the safety and industrial training space. The acquisition of ACTI adds to that platform, expanding AT Safety Training's construction and industrial trades training capabilities.
