Amapá Minerals completes $140 million initial public offering on the TSX

On July 30, 2026, Amapá Minerals Holdings Inc. completed its initial public offering of 127,272,728 common shares at a price of $1.10 per share for gross proceeds of $140 million. The common shares were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "AMAP." The offering was managed by a syndicate of underwriters, with Canaccord Genuity and BMO Capital Markets acting as joint lead bookrunners, Banco BTG Pactual S.A. – Cayman Branch as joint bookrunner, and Banco Bradesco BBI S.A. as co-manager. The underwriters were granted an over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 19,090,909 common shares at the offering price for additional gross proceeds of up to $21 million, which if fully exercised would bring the total to approximately $161 million. Amapá Minerals is a gold mining company whose principal asset is the Amapá Project, a past-producing open-pit gold operation located in the Guiana Shield in northern Brazil, which historically produced and sold more than 1.5 million ounces of gold between 2005 and 2021 and presents expansion opportunities. The company is supported by its largest shareholder, FIP Roca Magma, a Brazilian investment fund managed by Starboard Asset Ltd.
